This past weekend Brandon’s mom, step dad, and youngest brother came down to visit. We went to Kansas city to Gates BBQ.  It was good but the BBQ was a lil to spicy for my liking. Brandon got the smoked chicken and I got the beef sandwich. His chicken was so good! He always orders better! The next day we went to Toby Keith’s bar and grill. It was really good! I couldnt decide between the steak or the chicken. Once again I cant order! I got the steak. It was good but not as good as the chicken! (which his mom got!) I guess now on I’ll have to always order chicken. After we ate we went into the casino part. Brandon’s mom, step dad and I went in first as Brandon sat with his brother outside. His mom and I couldn’t get anything or couldn’t figure out what we were doing. His step dad put 5 bucks into a machine and ended up getting it to 53 dollars. His wife told him to stop but like all men they don’t listen! He cashed out at 20 cents. Brandon came in later and he put 10 bucks into a machine and got it to 1.75 and then up to 30.75 right then he cashed out! I was so proud of him! We had a good time especially the first day when we were all smashed in my car all the way to Kansas city and back.

To start off this post I guess I will tell about another bad thing that happened to me this week. Brandon and I are pretty sure that this week is just not for us! Anyways last night Brandon was out in the garage working on his motorcycle and I was in the kitchen cooking and rinsing dishes to put into the dishwasher. I was almost finished and I had just a steak knife left to wash. And of course I lost my grip and sliced my right middle finger. I was freaking out cause I couldn’t tell how deep. So I scream for Brandon and about scared him to death. I think its ok. It hurts so bad! It seems like before I got married I never had problems cooking things, doing laundry or anything. Now that I’m married and on my own It seems like everything I do goes wrong. Every time I do laundry I’m not thinking straight and do something stupid like put the detergent in the fabric softener ball. Well for the good news my sis had another sonogram today! They tried to find out what the baby was before but they weren’t totally for sure cause her legs were crossed. This time their more definite that it is a girl! But of course you don’t know 100% till its here. I’m very excited! I cant wait to buy her some cute Japanese outfits! She’s gonna be spoiled rotten!

Well today was an interesting day. We found out that taking animals over is insain! We found out that the microchip Kosmo (our cat) already had was not eligible. So we had to get him another microchip and on top of that the rabies shot he got just before we found that out, is no longer eligible because for some crazy reason it has to be given after the microchip was inserted. We’re crunched for time before we have to leave and we are still fighting to get all their rabie shots and things done. Anyways for the funny part of the day after I had dropped brandon off at work I was taking Kosmo back home and since I totally forgot to put gas in my car I was left stranded on the side of the road not to far from our lil Amish town. No I’m not blonde! My gas gauge does not work. I kinda sense when I need to get gas but since hubby now drives it as well I lost that sense! I ended up being able to hardly get my car turned onto this side road. I was sidewasys in the road so it had to have looked like something was wrong. Anyways one guy came to see if I was ok and I had already talked to brandon at that point. But you know everyone else just slowed, starred and kept going. Even the people that lived in the house I was stranded by drove right past my car and didnt bother to ask if I was ok! Anyways, I called brandon at work and told him the wonderful news. He asked his boss if he could leave work along with someone else to go get me. His boss said “what am I gonna do with you?” lol. He ended up having to get himself and two other guys out of work just to get me gas. Docker one of the guys had to drive him and Woodriff to get Woodriffs car. Woodriff was the only one with a gas can. Then Woodriff and Brandon had to go get the gas and then they FINALLY got to me! I was freezing by this time! Kosmo slept through it. I guess I’m turning into my mom and sis! Sorry dad!

I decided to copy off my sis and bro and make a blog. It will give me something to do and allow my family and friends to see whats going on in my life while my husband and I are deployed. To start off for those who dont know me… I am 21, fresh out of nursing school. I am waiting to take my state boards and killing myself to study. Its so hard when you hated school in the first place and just want to get on with your life. I just married the love of my life ( Brandon). We were married on January 3, 2009.  I will be a first time Aunt in June. I am very excited and cant wait to get back to spoil it rotten I am very nervous, excited, and blessed about things happening in my life.
